Ustadha Noura Shamma is a teacher and speaker with a specialized focus on the Sirah (the life of the beloved Prophet ﷺ) history, hadith, and children’s education. Ustadha Noura has spent numerous years studying Arabic and the Islamic Sciences, at various universities and institutes including the American University of Cairo, ISTAC, Qasid Institute, and the Zaytuna Institute, and privately with scholars in the US, Jordan and Turkey. She has over twenty-five years of experience in teaching both online and on-the-ground in the US, the UK, Norway, Canada, Jordan and Turkey. Based on her 30 years plus of traveling and living in different countries, Noura brings lessons learned and best practices, including ensuring everything from comfortable accommodations and transportation, to gift bags with travel necessities, to the tours planned for Clearlight Collection.
Clearlight Collection is focused on providing small group trips that are a well-rounded experience, featuring academic knowledge, visits to religiously significant sites, cultural exposure, and free time. The groups will be multi-generational and diverse in nature, unless specified otherwise. This enables participants to get to know one another and develop bonds of friendship and camaraderie that can last a lifetime.
Our group will be transported from site to site in comfortable luxury air-conditioned tourist buses or vans to different places, historical cities and sites. Most sites have some walking, and a few sites have stairs or inclines. Generally it will be easy and short walks to reach the sites. Most sites and mosques are wheelchair accessible, however some locations may not be wheelchair accessible, although efforts will be made to accommodate as much as possible. The guides will aim to take into account the differing abilities and health conditions of group members and regulate the pace and the intensity of the tour as much as possible. On most days, the programme includes free time to rest and for shopping and personal exploration.
