Our Trips & Retreats
We venture forth to fulfill the command to “travel through the land and observe” (Surah Al-‘Ankabut: 20), contemplating the Āyāt (signs) of Allah in both the natural world and human civilization.
Our story begins with a lifetime of journeys. From a young age, we experienced the transformative power of traveling, living and connecting with people across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. These experiences taught us to appreciate the vast tapestry of humanity, to build friendships that cross all borders, and to find a tangible connection to our history and religion. Travel dissolved barriers, replacing small-mindedness with a profound understanding of the divine wisdom in creation: “O humankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another” (Qur’an 49:13).
This firsthand understanding—that travel can be a living embodiment of this Quranic verse—is the foundation upon which Clearlight Collection was built. We learned that journeying through the world is a profound way to journey towards the Creator.
